Listening matters.
Beneath every conversation is my simple belief that people are usually more capable than they realise. They already possess experience, insight and judgment. What they often need is the opportunity to reconnect with what they already know.
That belief shapes everything. Thoughtful questions, curiosity and encouragement which all help people discover their own ideas.
The aim is independence. When people trust their own judgment they make better decisions, contribute more confidently and continue thinking well after our conversation has ended.
Listening is simply the visible expression of the approach.
